Le Cedre autumn news letter. The summer season is over and the majority of children are now back at school. The slower pace of Autumn gives us a chance to relax a little, take stock of what was a success and what wasn't, to plan the maintenance and any improvements that we would like to undertake during the winter.

The three changes that we made last winter all turned out to be a big thumbs up from our customers.
The Central heating was up and running for the Chrismas booking and with the log burner made the house cosy and was needed right through the Easter period.
The snooker table was never advertises as being in the games room so came as a pleasant surprise and has seen much use. The table tennis which originally filled this spot was moved into the garden,it had several sites but finally landed up on the pool terrace. Plans for next year are to concrete an area in the court yard as a more perminent home for the table.
The third change was the addition of a fifth bedroom. This was originally the double garage but no one ever used it so it was decided to increase the sleeping capasity.

With much of August this year being unusually cool and damp many of our guest took advantage of our offer to use the facilities at La Grange,our gite complex in St.Martin des Fontaines, and in particular the indoor heated pool and Trampoline.
The Sports and Games hall at La grange is an ongoing development with the outside terrace for the pool nearly finished and for next year,shower and changing facilities for the pool being available and hopefully the large childrens room being completed. Keep your eyes on this news page for details.

Bookings for 2007 are well underway with many of the major holiday weeks aready booked, and with our participation in the new website www.french-gite-holidays.co.uk we are hoping for even better results.
